Boxted Parish Council
Boxted Parish Council consists of 9 Parish Councillor positions, who are responsible for administering a significant budget for the benefit of the local community.
The Parish Council has powers to provide local infrastructure such as allotments, play areas, village halls and, by being closer to the local community, can more easily meet local needs. Importantly the Parish Council is also entitled to be consulted on any planning applications that affect the village.
The Chair of the Council for the next year will be chosen at the May 2022 meeting

Date And Time Of Parish Council Meetings
The Parish Council meets every second Wednesday of each month except August and December. Meetings start at 7:30pm and are held in the Village Hall, Cage Lane Boxted.
All minutes and annual reports of the Parish Council and its sub-committees can be found on the Minutes page.
The meeting is open to the public to observe their council in operation. In addition a 15 minute Public Open Forum is a standing item on the agenda to enable the public to ask questions or make statements.
